Let me tell you a bit about me.
My name is Shinji and I am the owner of this website. It is not my legal name, but one that I have decided to use for the sake of this blog.
Because it is a name that embodies the way through which I want to approach all things in life: true intention. (真志）
It is not a name that I believe should be given upon the birth of one, but a name that one has to pour blood and sweat to earn.
I sincerely hope that one day it will be mine.

Anyway,
I made this website because I have a passion for cultures and languages.
I spend all my free time immersing myself in languages I strive to learn, engaging in cultures that are foreign to me.

As for other things about myself...
I was born in Montreal and lived all my life in Quebec.
I am now 27 years old and I am a student in International Studies at Laval University.

I chose to dedicate this website to the goddess Sarasvati because she has always fascinated me and because I feel as though she symbolizes everything that this website is about: culture and languages.
Though she also represents other things, such as truth, fortune, wisdom, knowledge...
